From Playboy's classic archives comes a trilogy of stocking-filler-sized volumes, each devoted to a certain hair color destined to quicken a man's pulse. Blonde? Brunette? Redhead? In the fifties, sixties, and seventies, it seemed like all the Playboy models, not just blondes, had more fun. Building sandcastles in the buff, romping on tiger skin rugs, or starting pillow fights, beauties of every tress are captured in these timeless color photographs. Playboy contributing editor James R. Petersen introduces each book with a heartfelt text, and witty quotes are sprinkled throughout. At once evocative and whimsical, this handsome collection is a perfect gift for a gentleman whether he prefers a blonde, marries a brunette, or has always had a thing for a redhead. James R. Petersen is former editor of "The Playboy Advisor" column and is a longtime employee of Playboy.
Do blondes have more fun? Back in the golden years of Playboy magazine, it seems like all the bunnies had more fun - building sandcastles in the buff, romping on tiger skin rugs or starting a mischievous pillow fight. From Playboy's classic archives comes a trilogy of pocket-sized volumes that celebrate hair color and the girls who know how to put it to such good use. Whether sun-kissed gold, bombshell brown or fire-engine red, every stripe of bunny is quintessentially captured in these timeless colour photographs from the 50's, 60's and early 70's. A spot-on introduction by former Playboy Advisor columnist Jim Petersen and wilty quotes sprinkled throughout complete each affordable title, And with 80 images by some of Playboy's most revered photographers packed into each book, this is the perfect holiday gift for the swinging single in us all.
This is a fantastic little book at a very reasonable price featuring pictures of some of Playboy's most gorgeous stunning girls from the 1950s-1970s. Most of the pictures are topless but a good number of tasteful full-frontals as well. Nicely produced - excellent present for any connoisseurs of the female form.
A great collection of pictures from Playboy in the 50's, 60's, and early 70's. Some of the best women are featured, and it includes the trademark "centerfold" page (poster-sized fold-out print) in the middle of the book. The 4-page essay in the beginning is pretty informative, too (did you know that blondes have more strands per inch than any other haircolor?).
You’ll like this book if you like Playboy nudes – really hot girls from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s.
