In Erotic Book, you’ll find some things you’ll agree with strongly and others you’ll be shaking your head and asking yourself what he’s thinking. Sheldon Filger is definitely opinionated about what he likes in the female form. For example, he discusses pubic hair in great detail, mentioning how many women now shave their pubic hair while most men actually prefer to see women with their hair still intact. He also seems to be fairly against the idea of piercings in every possible corner of the body, though he does accept that some piercings can make a woman much more erotic looking. Over-all, treat this as a guide for both men and women to learn more about the female form and what makes it so special.
For me, reading Erotic Book was almost like having a discussion with an old friend or colleague in the business. Mr. Filger talks about his work as an erotic photographer and what he likes to see and I almost felt like I wanted to talk back and say what I enjoy when I review erotic books. Over-all, we seemed to agree most of the time, but disagreed on occasion (I prefer trimmed pubes myself – so somewhere in the middle from his viewpoint). If you truly want to understand the female form and why we tend to worship its beauty, this book would be high on my list of must reads.
